Ingredients

  • 15 oz Pumpkin puree
  • 14 oz Sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 pieces Large eggs
  • 1 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Ground ginger
  • 0.5 tsp Ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 piece Unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup Whipped cream (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, and eggs. Whisk until smooth and fully incorporated.

Step 3

Add the granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and salt to the bowl. Mix well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.

Step 4

Stir in the vanilla extract and mix until smooth.

Step 5

Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish, pressing it gently against the sides and bottom. Trim any excess crust hanging over the edges.

Step 6

Pour the pumpkin filling into the pie crust, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.

Step 7

Place the pie on the center rack of the preheated oven. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 15 minutes.

Step 8

Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for an additional 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

Step 9

Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours. This allows the filling to fully set.

Step 10

Once cooled, serve the pie with a dollop of whipped cream if desired. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container.
