Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 pound Chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 3 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups Spinach, fresh and chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoons Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

1. Heat a large, deep skillet or sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil, then add the diced chicken breast. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is lightly browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Step 2

2. In the same pan, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Step 3

3. Add the chicken broth to the pan and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, add the bowtie pasta and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente. (Add a splash of water or broth if too much liquid evaporates before the pasta is fully cooked.)

Step 4

4. Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly.

Step 5

5. Add the cooked chicken back into the pan along with the chopped spinach. Stir until the spinach wilts and everything is heated through, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 6

6. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper as needed.

Step 7

7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy your creamy and delicious One Dish Chicken and Bows!
