Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized Fresh peaches
  • 2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cups Unsalted butter
  • 0.75 cups Evaporated milk
  • 1 cup White chocolate chips
  • 1 jar (7 oz) Marshmallow creme
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

Wash, peel, and pit the peaches. Puree them in a blender or food processor until smooth. Measure out 1/2 cup of peach puree and set aside. If the puree is watery, strain it through a fine mesh sieve to remove excess liquid.

Step 2

In a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, butter, peach puree, and evaporated milk. Stir the mixture over medium heat until the butter melts and it begins to simmer.

Step 3

Attach a candy thermometer to the side of the saucepan. Continue cooking while stirring frequently until the mixture reaches 234°F (soft-ball stage). This should take about 10–15 minutes.

Step 4

Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the white chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and salt. Keep stirring until the white chocolate completely melts and the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Step 5

Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.

Step 6

Let the fudge cool at room temperature for about 2 hours or until it sets. For faster setting, you can place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 7

Once the fudge is firm, lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into 1-inch squares and serve.

Step 8

Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
