Ingredients

  • 250 grams fresh okra
  • 300 grams potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 200 milliliters water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro

Directions

Step 1

Wash the okra thoroughly and dry them with a kitchen towel. Trim the ends and cut into 1-inch pieces.

Step 2

Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1-inch cubes.

Step 3

Finely chop the onion and tomato.

Step 4

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the cumin seeds and sauté until they begin to sizzle.

Add the chopped onion and cook for 4-5 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
