Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cups Creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cups Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cups Brown sugar, packed
  • 0.25 cups Unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cups Milk
  • 1 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a standard 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease the cups.

Step 2

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer or a whisk to combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Step 4

Beat in the melted butter, followed by the eggs, one at a time, until fully incorporated. Mix in the vanilla extract.

Step 5

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in three additions, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix gently after each addition, being careful not to overmix.

Step 6

Fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Step 7

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs attached.

Step 9

Remove the muffins from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 10

Serve warm or at room temperature and enjoy your Oh So Yummy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Muffins!
