  • 4 pieces Bone-in pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 large Yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Button mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

Step 2

Place the all-purpose flour in a shallow dish. Dredge each pork chop in the flour, coating both sides, and shake off any excess flour.

Step 3

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside.
