Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the shredded coconut, honey, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well combined to create a sticky mixture.
Transfer the coconut mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use your fingers or a spatula to evenly press the mixture into the bottom of the dish, ensuring an even layer.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until the coconut begins to turn golden brown on the edges.
