Ingredients

  • 200 grams Medjool dates (pitted)
  • 2 large Ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 60 grams Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 80 grams Rolled oats (blended into flour)
  • 120 ml Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) baking dish with parchment paper.

Step 2

Soak the Medjool dates in warm water for about 10 minutes until softened. Then, drain the water and blend the dates into a smooth paste using a food processor.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in the date paste, almond milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.

In a separate bowl, mix together the oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
