  • 100 milliliters Water
  • 500 milliliters Vegetable oil (for frying)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, ajwain seeds, and black pepper.

Add the ghee to the flour mixture and mix well with your fingertips until the mixture has a breadcrumb-like texture.

Gradually add water, a little at a time, and knead to form a firm, smooth dough. Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for 10 minutes.

After resting, divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion into a thin sheet (about 2-3 millimeters thick) using a rolling pin.
