Ingredients

  • 400 grams spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 pieces large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

Step 2

In a small skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the breadcrumbs and toast, stirring frequently, until golden brown and crunchy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, add another 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mince the garlic and sauté over medium heat for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in the smoked paprika, then remove the skillet from the heat.
