Ingredients

  • 750 ml Dry red wine
  • 240 ml Orange juice
  • 120 ml Brandy
  • 60 ml Simple syrup (or sugar)
  • 1 large Orange
  • 1 large Apple
  • 1 medium Lemon
  • 2 whole Cinnamon sticks
  • 240 ml Sparkling water
  • 120 grams Raspberries or other berries (optional)
  • 2 cups Ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

Wash the orange, apple, and lemon thoroughly. Slice the orange and lemon into thin rounds, and dice the apple into small cubes or slices. Set aside.

Step 2

In a large pitcher or a punch bowl, combine the red wine, orange juice, and brandy.

Step 3

Stir in the simple syrup (or sugar) until fully dissolved to achieve desired sweetness.

Step 4

Add the prepared orange slices, lemon slices, apple pieces, and cinnamon sticks to the pitcher.

Step 5

Cover the pitcher with a lid or plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let the flavors meld together.

Step 6

Just before serving, stir in the sparkling water for a fizzy touch. Gently fold in the berries if using.
