  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour (for filling)
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter (melted, for filling)

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, dissolve the active dry yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, unsalted butter, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until crumbly.

Add the yeast and milk mixture to the bowl. Knead the dough until it comes together into a smooth, soft ball. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour in a warm place.
