  • 1.5 pounds Ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 0.5 pounds Ground pork
  • 1 cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup Green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 0.75 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs, lightly beaten
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dry mustard powder
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or loaf pan.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, and green bell pepper.

Step 3

Add the breadcrumbs, milk, beaten eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, mustard powder, and minced garlic. Mix gently with your hands or a spatula until all ingredients are evenly distributed, but do not overmix.
