  • 12 pieces lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Cook the lasagna noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay them flat on a clean towel to prevent sticking.

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, Italian sausage, and chopped onion until the meat is browned and the onion is softened, about 7-10 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
