  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground ginger

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, dissolve the active dry yeast in warm water. Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine milk, melted butter, pumpkin puree, sugar, and the egg. Mix until smooth.

Step 3

Stir in the yeast mixture to the wet ingredients.

Step 4

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

Step 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.

Step 6

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

Step 7

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
