Ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 piece lemons, sliced for garnish
  • 4 sprigs dill sprigs for garnish

Directions

Step 1

Place the salmon fillets on a plate and pat them dry with paper towels.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, chopped dill, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a smooth marinade.

Step 3

Brush the mustard marinade generously onto both sides of each salmon fillet. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse.

Step 4

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.

Step 5

Place the salmon fillets on the grill skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes without moving them to develop grill marks and allow the skin to crisp up.

Step 6

Carefully flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Step 7

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Step 8

Garnish each fillet with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh dill. Serve immediately.
