Ingredients

  • 30 pieces Chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1.5 cups Dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Fresh mixed berries (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar (optional, for berries)

Directions

Step 1

Place the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed into crumbs.

Step 2

Pour the melted butter into the cookie crumbs and pulse again until the mixture resembles wet sand.

Step 3

Press the cookie crumb mixture evenly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom. Use the back of a spoon or the bottom of a measuring cup to firmly press it down. Place the tart pan in the freezer to set for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4

Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate ganache filling. In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and heavy cream.

Step 5

Heat the bowl over a double boiler (or microwave in 20-second increments, stirring in between) until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 6

Remove the tart crust from the freezer and pour the chocolate ganache filling into the crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Return the tart to the fridge to set for at least 2 hours.

Step 7

While the tart sets, prepare the berry topping. If desired, toss the fresh mixed berries with sugar to enhance their sweetness. Let them macerate for 10-15 minutes.

Step 8

Once the tart has fully set, top it with the mixed berries, arranging them decoratively on the surface.

Step 9

Carefully remove the tart from the pan and transfer it to a serving plate. Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy your Mudberry Tart No Bake!
