Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked shrimp, finely chopped
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 10.5 ounces Condensed cream of tomato soup
  • 2 packets Plain gelatin
  • 1 cup Cold water
  • 1 cup Hot water
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 stalks Green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cup Celery, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, dissolve the 2 packets of plain gelatin in 1 cup of cold water. Let it bloom for about 5 minutes.

Step 2

Pour 1 cup of hot water into the gelatin mixture, stirring until fully dissolved. Set aside to cool to room temperature.

Step 3

In a medium saucepan, heat the condensed cream of tomato soup over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth and slightly warm. Do not allow it to boil.

Step 4

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Step 5

Gradually add the cooled gelatin mixture and warm tomato soup to the cream cheese mixture, stirring constantly to ensure a smooth consistency.

Step 6

Stir in the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.

Step 7

Fold in the chopped shrimp, green onions, and celery, ensuring the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Step 8

Lightly grease a decorative gelatin mold or bundt pan with a neutral oil or cooking spray.

Step 9

Pour the shrimp mixture into the mold, spreading evenly and tapping the mold lightly on the counter to eliminate air bubbles.

Step 10

Cover the mold with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set. For best results, chill overnight.

Step 11

To serve, gently loosen the edges of the mold with a knife or spatula. Place a serving platter over the mold and invert it carefully. Shake gently until the shrimp mold releases onto the platter.

Step 12

Garnish with fresh parsley, lemon wedges, or crackers, if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy!
