Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rolled oats
  • 1 cup Vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup Peanut butter (creamy)
  • 1 cup Honey
  • 0.25 cup Milk (any type)
  • 0.5 cup Dark chocolate chips
  • 0.25 teaspoon Sea salt (optional, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and vanilla protein powder. Stir until well mixed.

Step 2

In a microwave-safe bowl, add the peanut butter and honey. Microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until the mixture is warm and can be easily stirred together.

Step 3

Pour the peanut butter and honey mixture over the oats and protein powder. Stir until the dry ingredients are fully coated.

Step 4

Gradually add the milk, one tablespoon at a time, and stir until the mixture comes together into a thick, sticky dough.

Step 5

Fold in the dark chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Step 6

Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Transfer the mixture to the dish and press it down firmly with a spatula or your hands until it’s evenly spread and compacted.

Step 7

Optional: Sprinkle sea salt evenly over the top for a hint of salty-sweet flavor.

Step 8

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the mixture is firm and set.

Step 9

Once chilled, remove the protein bar mixture from the dish using the parchment paper as a sling. Slice into 10 equal bars using a sharp knife.

Step 10

Store the protein bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
