  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Mountain Dew (for frosting)
  • 1 teaspoon Lime zest (for garnish, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin pan with cupcake liners.

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

In a separate larger mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, Mountain Dew, vanilla extract, and lime zest until smooth.
