  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoons Chocolate shavings or curls (optional, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven according to the pre-made pie crust package instructions. Roll out the crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish. Bake as directed, then set aside to cool completely.

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt until well combined.

Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Heat the mixture over medium heat, whisking constantly, until it begins to thicken and bubble gently (about 8-10 minutes).
