Ingredients

  • 1 head (medium-sized) Green cabbage
  • 2 large Carrots
  • 0.75 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage, then cut the cabbage in half and remove the core. Finely shred the cabbage using a sharp knife or a mandoline, and place it in a large mixing bowl.

Step 2

Peel the carrots and shred them using a box grater or the shredding attachment on a food processor. Add the shredded carrots to the mixing bowl with the cabbage.

Step 3

In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, granulated sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth and well combined.

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture. Toss well using tongs or a large spoon until the vegetables are evenly coated with the dressing.
