Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 pound Bacon
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 15 ounces Kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 ounces Butter beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 ounces Pinto beans, undrained
  • 28 ounces Baked beans, undrained
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel to drain, then crumble it and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is softened, about 7–10 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Step 4

In a large mixing bowl, combine the kidney beans, butter beans, pinto beans, and baked beans.

Step 5

Add the cooked ground beef, onion, and crumbled bacon to the bowl, and mix thoroughly.

Step 6

In a separate small bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, yellow mustard, salt, and pepper to create the sauce.

Step 7

Pour the sauce over the bean mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.

Step 8

Transfer the mixture to a large casserole dish or Dutch oven.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven, uncovered, for 45 minutes, or until the mixture is heated through and bubbling.

Step 10

Serve warm and enjoy as a main dish or a side dish. Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated as desired.
