Ingredients

  • 2 medium, peeled and diced Potatoes
  • 2 medium, peeled and diced Carrots
  • 100 grams Green peas
  • 150 grams, chopped into small florets Cauliflower
  • 1 large, finely chopped Onion
  • 1 large, chopped Tomato
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 finely chopped Green chili
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon or to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped Fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 200 milliliters Water

Directions

Step 1

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until they become fragrant.

Step 3

Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chili, cooking for another minute.

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil begins to separate from the mixture.

Mix in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and cook for a minute to toast the spices.
