Ingredients

  • 6 pieces large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika

Directions

Step 1

Place the eggs in a medium-sized saucepan and cover them with cold water, ensuring the water level is about 1 inch above the eggs.

Step 2

Bring the water to a boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the eggs simmer gently for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Remove the eggs from the heat and transfer them immediately into a bowl of ice water to cool for at least 10 minutes. This will make peeling easier.

Step 4

Peel the cooled eggs carefully under running water and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.

Step 5

Slice each egg in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the yolks using a small spoon, placing the yolks in a mixing bowl.

Step 6

Mash the yolks with a fork until they are smooth and fluffy. Stir in the mayonnaise, mustard, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until the mixture is creamy and well-combined.

Step 7

Using a spoon or a piping bag fitted with a star tip, fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture, mounding slightly at the center.

Step 8

Garnish the filled eggs with a light sprinkle of paprika for color and extra flavor.

Step 9

Refrigerate the deviled eggs for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Step 10

Serve chilled and enjoy!
