Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons White miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the sea scallops under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Remove the side muscle from each scallop if present.

Step 2

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together white miso paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil to create the miso glaze.

Step 3

Grate or finely mince the garlic clove and stir it into the miso glaze mixture.

Step 4

Set your oven to broil and position a rack about 6-8 inches from the broiler element. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease it with oil or cooking spray.
