Ingredients

  • 300 grams Frozen spinach
  • 200 grams Cottage cheese
  • 50 grams Feta cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 2 pieces Puff pastry sheets
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Thaw the frozen spinach and squeeze out excess water. Set aside.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the spinach, cottage cheese, feta cheese, egg, oregano, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix well until the filling is evenly combined.

Step 3

Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the puff pastry sheets if needed to increase their size slightly. Cut each sheet into 8 squares.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Place a heaping tablespoon of the spinach and cottage cheese filling onto the center of each pastry square.
