  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 0.75 cup marinara sauce
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, milk, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaves tender.
