  • 250 grams all-purpose flour

  • 85 grams unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 120 milliliters milk
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 150 grams cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 150 grams smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • 0 optional fresh dill sprigs (for garnish)
  • 0 to taste black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingertips to work the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
