Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 rolls) Refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 bars (about 3.5 oz each) Milk chocolate bars
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Milk

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Step 2

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 individual triangles along the perforations.

Step 3

Break the milk chocolate bars into small squares or rectangles that will fit inside the dough triangles. You'll need about 2-3 pieces of chocolate per roll, depending on size.

Step 4

Place 2-3 pieces of milk chocolate at the wider end of each dough triangle. Roll the triangle starting from the wide end and rolling towards the pointed tip, enclosing the chocolate inside. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet with the pointed tip of the dough facing down.

Step 5

In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter (about 20-30 seconds in the microwave). Brush the tops of the rolled crescents with the melted butter.

Step 6

In another small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered crescents.

Step 7

Bake the crescents in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffed up.

Step 8

While the crescents bake, make a simple glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth.

Step 9

Remove the crescents from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet. Drizzle the glaze lightly over each crescent for an extra touch of sweetness.

Step 10

Serve the Milk Chocolate Rolled Crescents warm and enjoy!
