Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground turkey
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 medium (finely diced) Onion
  • 2 cloves (minced) Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons (freshly chopped) Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, panko breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, diced onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, 3 tablespoons of ketchup, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix everything gently but thoroughly using your hands or a large spoon.

Step 3

Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down evenly to fill the corners and smooth out the top.

Step 4

In a small bowl, prepare the glaze by mixing the remaining ketchup (about 5 tablespoons) with the brown sugar and apple cider vinegar.

Step 5

Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the turkey loaf using the back of a spoon or a silicone spatula.

Step 6

Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when checked with a meat thermometer.

Step 7

Once cooked, remove the turkey loaf from the oven and let it rest in the pan for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Step 8

Carefully remove the turkey loaf from the pan, slice, and serve warm. Pair it with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal!
