  • 1 pound Ground chicken
  • 3 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons Harissa paste
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 cup Chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro, chopped
  • 4 pieces Burger buns
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons Pickled onions (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.

Step 3

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the ground chicken to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
