  • 500 g Ground lamb or beef
  • 1 medium Onion, finely grated

  • 1.5 tsp Ground coriander
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Tahini sauce (optional)
  • 4 pieces Pita or burger buns
  • 1 large Tomato slices
  • 1 medium Red onion slices
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 0.25 cup Cucumber slices

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb or beef, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly with your hands until well combined.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty, approximately 1 inch thick.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
