Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 lb Ground pork
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.25 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1 cup Grape jelly
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, Parmesan cheese, and milk.

Step 3

Mix the ingredients together until just combined. Do not overmix to avoid tough meatballs.

Step 4

Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and lightly golden on the outside.

Step 6

While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, grape jelly, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the ingredients are well combined and the sauce is smooth.

Step 7

Once the meatballs are done baking, transfer them to the saucepan with the sauce. Gently stir to coat the meatballs evenly.

Step 8

Reduce the heat to low and simmer the meatballs in the sauce for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld together.

Step 9

Serve the meatballs warm, either on their own as an appetizer with toothpicks or over rice or noodles as a main dish.
