  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 pieces lime wedges (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Cut each jalapeño lengthwise, leaving the stem intact, and remove the seeds and membranes carefully with a small spoon or knife.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon, until fully browned.
