Ingredients

  • 4 large red bell peppers
  • 1 medium red onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Wash and dry the red bell peppers. Cut them into small pieces, removing the seeds and stems.

Peel and finely chop the red onion.

Step 3

Peel and mince the garlic cloves.

Step 4

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped red onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 5 to 7 minutes.

Add the chopped red bell peppers to the saucepan and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften, about 10 minutes.
