  • 1 can (400 grams) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 lemon, juiced

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion to the pot and sauté for 5 minutes until translucent.
