  • 12 ounces Whole grain fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 0.25 cup Fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 0.25 cup Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the whole grain fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Season the chicken breasts with 0.5 teaspoon salt and 0.25 teaspoon black pepper.
