Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 28 ounces canned crushed tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 cup kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Add the chicken to the skillet and brown for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
