Ingredients

  • 2 balls (about 100g each) Burrata cheese
  • 300 grams Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 medium English cucumber
  • 1 small Red onion
  • 3 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 10 leaves Fresh basil leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 100 grams Kalamata olives

Directions

Step 1

Start by washing the cherry tomatoes and the cucumber. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.

Step 2

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place them in a large mixing bowl.

Step 3

Peel the cucumber if desired, then slice it into thin rounds and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Step 4

Peel the red onion and slice it thinly. Add the sliced onion to the salad bowl.

Step 5

Pit and slice the Kalamata olives, then add them to the salad mixture.

Step 6

Tear the fresh basil leaves into small pieces, adding them to the salad.

Step 7

In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Step 8

Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients in the bowl. Toss gently to combine all the flavors.

Step 9

Arrange the burrata balls on a serving platter. Gently tear the burrata to let the creamy interior spill out slightly.

Step 11

Serve immediately, allowing guests to scoop creamy burrata with the salad.
