Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground beef
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Prepared mustard

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, milk, 1/4 cup of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Mix the ingredients gently with your hands until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatloaf dense.

Step 4

Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape it evenly, smoothing the top.

Step 5

In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1/4 cup of ketchup with the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and mustard to make a glaze.

Step 6

Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Step 7

Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Step 8

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Step 9

Serve warm, and enjoy your neighbor's delicious meatloaf recipe with your favorite sides!
