  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 0.5 pounds ground pork
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper, ground
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and ground pork.

Step 3

Add the chopped onion, grated carrot, and minced garlic to the bowl.

In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the milk, allowing the milk to soak into the crumbs for about 2 minutes.
