Ingredients

  • 4 pounds Ground beef
  • 2 pounds Ground pork
  • 2 cups Breadcrumbs
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 medium Yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 cups Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.25 cup Parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, and breadcrumbs. Mix gently with clean hands or a large spoon until evenly blended.

Step 3

In a separate medium-sized bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, thyme, and paprika.

Step 4

Add the chopped onions, minced garlic, and whisked mixture into the meat and breadcrumbs. Mix everything thoroughly with your hands until evenly combined, but do not overmix.

Step 5

Shape the meat mixture into a large loaf and place it in the center of the prepared baking sheet.

Step 6

In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup and Dijon mustard to create the glaze. Spread half of the glaze evenly over the top and sides of the meatloaf.

Step 7

Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, then remove it and spread the remaining glaze on top.

Step 8

Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reads 160°F (71°C) on a meat thermometer.

Step 9

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Step 10

Slice the meatloaf into generous portions and serve warm. Enjoy!
