Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground beef
  • 250 grams Ground pork
  • 100 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 120 milliliters Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 medium, finely chopped Yellow onion
  • 2 minced Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons, finely chopped Parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the milk and let it sit for 5 minutes to absorb.

Step 3

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, soaked breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix thoroughly with your hands until evenly blended.

Step 4

Form the mixture into meatball-sized portions, about 2 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Alternatively, shape the mixture into a loaf form if making a meatloaf-style dish.

Step 5

Brush the tops of the meatballs or loaf with olive oil to help them brown while baking.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes for meatballs, or 40-45 minutes for a meatloaf, until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).

Step 7

Once cooked, remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Step 8

Serve warm with your choice of sides such as mashed potatoes, a fresh salad, or steamed vegetables. Enjoy!
