Ingredients

  • 2 Bagels
  • 6 oz Steak (thinly sliced, such as ribeye or sandwich steak)
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Start by preparing the creamy breakfast sauce. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and onion powder until well combined. Set aside.

Step 2

Season the thinly sliced steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.

Step 3

Sear the steak in the hot skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk with a pinch of salt until well blended.

Step 5

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook gently, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are set but still fluffy. Fold the eggs into a square shape to fit the bagel. Remove from heat.

Step 6

Toast the bagels until golden brown and warm. Spread a generous layer of the prepared breakfast sauce on the bottom half of the bagels.

Step 7

Assemble the sandwich by layering the cooked steak, folded eggs, and a slice of American cheese on the bottom half of each bagel. Top with the other half of the bagel.

Step 8

Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade McDonald's-style breakfast bagel sandwich!
