Ingredients

  • 0.5 lb Ground beef
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 pieces Sesame seed sandwich buns
  • 1 cup Shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 8 pieces Dill pickle slices
  • 0.25 cup Onion, finely diced
  • 2 pieces Processed cheese slices
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp Yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp White vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp Paprika

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, prepare the Big Mac special sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir until smooth, then set aside in the refrigerator.

Step 2

Preheat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions (2.5 ounces each) and shape them into thin, round patties. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Step 4

Toast both sesame seed buns on a dry skillet until golden brown. Once toasted, carefully separate the bottom bun of one into two thinner slices to create the classic Big Mac structure: top bun, middle bun, and bottom bun.

Step 5

Cook the beef patties in the preheated skillet for about 2 minutes per side, until fully browned and cooked through.

Step 6

Assemble the Big Mac: Spread a thin layer of the special sauce on the bottom bun and the middle bun slice.

Step 7

Place shredded lettuce on top of the sauce on both layers, followed by a slice of processed cheese on the bottom bun.

Step 8

On the middle bun, add dill pickle slices and diced onion.

Step 9

Layer a cooked beef patty on both the bottom and middle buns.

Step 10

Stack the assembled middle bun slice on top of the bottom bun layer. Crown it with the top bun to complete the sandwich.

Step 11

Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Big Mac!
