  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice

Directions

Step 1

Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season them with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Slice the smoked sausage into 1/4-inch rounds. Dice the onion, green bell pepper, and celery. Mince the garlic cloves.

In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
