Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 medium Yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley (chopped, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon White vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, parsley (if using), salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Use clean hands or a sturdy spatula to mix the ingredients together until evenly combined, being careful not to overmix as this can make the meatloaf dense.

Step 4

Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it evenly into shape. Smooth out the top.

Step 5

In a small bowl, prepare the glaze by mixing the ketchup, brown sugar, and white vinegar. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Step 6

Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) when measured with a meat thermometer.

Step 7

Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This will help the juices redistribute and keep the meatloaf moist.

Step 8

Slice the meatloaf into thick pieces and serve warm with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes and green beans. Enjoy!
