Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Jumbo shrimp (shell-on, deveined)
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 0.25 cup Olive oil
  • 0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 cup Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 6 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoons Cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoons Dried thyme
  • 2 pieces Bay leaves
  • 0.25 cup Green onions (chopped)
  • 1 loaf Crusty French bread (for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse and pat dry the jumbo shrimp, leaving the shells on for flavor.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil together.

Step 3

Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Step 4

Stir in Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, dried thyme, and bay leaves. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Step 5

Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook on one side for 3-4 minutes until the shells are pink, then flip the shrimp and cook for another 3-4 minutes.

Step 6

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, basting the shrimp with the sauce frequently.

Step 7

Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle the chopped green onions over the shrimp.

Step 8

Serve immediately with crusty French bread for dipping into the flavorful sauce.
