Ingredients

  • 2 pieces chicken breast
  • 300 grams penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves
  • 200 grams cherry tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoons red chili flakes
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese
  • 10 pieces fresh basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, prepare the chicken. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and season with 0.5 teaspoons of salt and 0.25 teaspoons of black pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes until the chicken is golden and fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add minced garlic cloves and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
